  • Abstract
    This paper analyses the response status of the slender rod bucking by the UG NX advanced simulation with SEBUCKL 105 solution module. Based on the linear elastic deformation theory of small deformation, the paper analyses and calculates the eigenvalues and mode shapes of the slender rod, which calculates the bucking critical loads of structure response and analyses the influences degree of different structure parameters on the critical load. Finally the paper analyses deformation and stress results exceeding the critical loads by the linear static and nonlinear static state respectively with the same structure. by comparing, the paper draws the conclusion that the nonlinear static calculation module applies in the stage of plastic deformation.
