Abstract
In this paper we examine the problem of detecting and enhancing multiple sinusoidal tones buried in noise, employing an ARMA-like model based approach, but without the non-linear optimizations. The ARMA-like models are generated through the use of the Balanced Model Truncation (BMT) method-a powerful filter approximation technique
