  • Abstract
Currently, when research the fault detection and diagnosis in the mechanical and electrical systems, with the most is extracted vibration signal analysis and processing, but the vibration signal could been interfered easily by outside environment, this is likely to lead to signal distortion and cannot detect the fault. This paper proposed a fault detection method of mechanical and electrical system based on a rotation signal which collected by rotor, and introduced the rotation signal extraction method and FFT analysis theory. Experiments show that the method can capture the rotor turn signals accurately, and ensure the accuracy of FFT analysis base on this signal. From the results of PC processing, we can see, this method can detect common mechanical system failure effectively, and overcome the shortcomings of the vibration failure analysis.
