Abstract :
This paper describes a novel screen generation with multiple layer cluster-dot to achieve high quality and high resolution color ink jet printing with reduced moire patterning and ink bleeding. Conventional cluster-dot screens at high resolution ink jet printing produces severe moire patterns that are visible beating frequency components between screen, and horizontal print banding frequencies. It also results ink bleeding due to too much ink printed locally. Experimental results are presented to show the effectiveness of the technique
