  • Abstract
    How to promote IT application to agricultural enterprise is the key construction in agriculture informatization in China. In this study, an aquatic products enterprise was selected to demonstrate the integrative application of IT. By analyzing the demand of the demonstration enterprise, we designed a solution of constructing the enterprise informatization. Several information technologies are introduced into the whole processing of aquaculture, purchase, storage and sale of the penaeus vannamei, including sensor technology, wireless transport technology, automatic control technology, RFID, two-dimension code identification technology, WAP and database technology. The advantage of information technology and the requirements of aquaculture production have been integrated closely in our demonstration enterprise. Not only this enterprise but also many fish farmers have benefited from this research. Moreover, this demonstration program has caught notice of the local government and administrative department.
