Abstract :
Stand alone photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems are assembled and tested which use lead-acid battery and electric double layer capacitor (EDLC) as its storage device. Several rated capacities are tested and compared paying special attention to the performance such as efficiency. Based upon the experimental results, the possible scale merit is evaluated to successfully find out the positive scale merit. The environmental load of the PV is also discussed.
