Abstract :
For high precision measurement, this paper introduces the correlation principle on calibrating and comparing equipments. Frequency comparing equipments´ sensitivity, phase comparing system and double mixing time difference (DMTD) system´s self-calibration can be realized by using auto-correlation principle. Calibration of measuring equipments can be done by using cross-correlation principle. Study and application in time and frequency domain measurement is expatiated by instances using correlation principle. From the measured data, it proves that the method improves the stability test of reliability.
