Abstract :
We describe the performance of 1.3-μm InGaAlAs RWG-MQW-DFB lasers and EA-DFB lasers applicable to 40G/100G Ethernet. We obtained a 3-dB-down bandwidth frequency of over 30 GHz and clear eye opening at a 40-Gb/s modulation speed.
