  • Abstract
The burgeoning of game engine technology changes the traditional mode of producing computer game radically, which has been shocking and impacting the whole game industry and is still propelling the pace of development with astonishing speed. 3D game engine is the core technology in the whole 3D game arena. It is a synthetic technique, which involves multiple disciplines and reaches to varying areas. Game engine is the core module of computer games, which could be divided into many sub-engines: rendering engine, animating system, physics engine, scripting system, I/O system, etc. This paper provides an insight into three-dimensional game engine architecture. It first analyses the design and implementation of the overall architecture, and then studies core modules of my game engine name JIN Game Engine from its low level support system to the high level engine in details.
