A Rapid Way of Developing BOM-Based-Model

Model development is the critical portion of simulation system development. A way of model development with high efficiency is always time-saving and be preferred for simulation system development. In this paper, the BOM and KD-SmartSim was simply introduced and the architecture of the component-based simulation system was lay out. Depending on DEVS on model description and some important concept in HLA, a two-step way of model development which contains custom Model development and encapsulation model development was put forward and illustrated in detail. Meanwhile, the execution method of this component-based simulation system utilizing the two-step model development was described, and the aspect of this model development way in application and technology was summarized.
