Abstract
The author examines a recent approach to computing the ventricular surface activation map based on first localizing its extremal points. Predictions of the underlying theory are verified in body surface potential maps. Simple numerical simulation results suggest considerable tolerance of the approach to noise which is uncorrelated between different body surface leads
