Abstract :
Based on the working principle of the maglev spindles control system, the mechanical model of the maglev spindle system and the PID control system were established. By means of MATLAB SISO, the influence of the PID parameters on the step response of maglev spindle control system was analyzed, the PID parameters was adjusted and set. The results show that the proportion parameter mainly influences the overshoot of the system; the derivative parameter mainly influences the setting time of the system; the integral parameter can reduce the steady-state error of the system; the PID parameters setting based on MATLAB SISO makes the step response of the system improved rapidly, its performances, such as setting time and overshoot, are enhanced several orders of magnitude and the blindness of the integrator parameter setting by experience in conventional way is eliminated. This provides a more effective method of control system parameters setting for the research of the maglev spindle control system.
