Abstract :
With respect to high level of BIT false-alarm rate, mistaken unloading of replaceable units and low efficiency of operators related to the repairing field of aircrafts, a development of PMA has been designed on the basis of the low consumption processor S3C2440 which belongs to ARM9 series, and the real time operating system Windows CE6.0, which is integrated with IETM, download of fault information code, analysis of errors and network transmission, compensation for defects of the BIT. The experiment has concluded that—this kind of portable maintenance aid (PMA) can mostly enhance the maintenance efficiency, dealing of errors, and be user-friendly.
