Abstract :
In the report the new research results and experiments results of ferromagnetic opening switch (FOS) are presented. The modeling have shown expediency of FOS applying with a cross-sectional magnetization for shaping megaampere range current pulses for small inductivity load, when the switching energy losses are small on compare with power saved in the storage. The analysis of power balance of a induction storage with FOS has shown, that power needed for a circuit of a control system operation, and also ferromagnetic volume, can be essentially attenuated in the modified circuit, where at first the current is thrown in L-R a chain with small inductivity, and then in a load. The experiments have confirmed results of the transients in a circuit of the induction storage with FOS modeling and used models applicability in view of substantial cores geometry. The dependences permitting to couple the relation of an operating current to a control current with the core geometrical characteristics, open-circuit for a flow of a controlling field are counted and reconfirmed by experiment.
