  • Abstract
    The aim of the paper is to validate the implicit finite difference NND scheme, first developed in early 1990´s for use in CFD-CSD interaction problems. The focus was on implementing the existing numerical scheme of NND for validating the unsteady flow over NACA0012 airfoil using thin-layer Navier-Stokes equation. The equation was coupled with the structural dynamic model to identify the conventional flutter boundary and the behavior of the scheme near the flutter points. The results show that all the features of the unsteady flow have been captured.
