Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a method of digital watermarking for still images based on the wavelet transform. In this method, the watermark is a pseudo-random sequence of real numbers, which is added to the wavelet coefficients of multiresolution representation (MRR) of an image. For watermark detection, the correlation between the wavelet coefficients and the watermark is compared with the threshold used to determine whether the watermark is present or not. Experimental results show that the proposed method is robust against JPEG compression, smoothing, cropping and multiple watermarking
