Abstract
The possibilities of a posteriori synchronization of unsynchronized data records is investigated for the purpose of signal enhancement. The theoretical background for an effective frequency domain method is given. The time delay between records is identified via maximum likelihood estimation, slightly modified in order to improve computational effectiveness
