Abstract
In today´s world, corruption is on the rise. Bribery, also a form of corruption has affected every nation across the globe. With the advent of new web and mobile technologies, it has now become possible to introduce platforms for making complaints against bribery. However, due to the unknown identity and lack of personal interaction with the complainants, it is crucial to ensure the integrity of data provided. Hence, decision makers are faced with the need for a system to evaluate the trustworthiness of complaints made. To bridge this gap, a system called BribeWire is proposed to lodge complaints against bribery along with a novel trust model to evaluate the trustworthiness of these complaints. An algorithm that executes the trust model is introduced, followed by the architecture of the application that is to be used to lodge complaints against bribery.
