Abstract :
This paper develops a new “approaching degree” from the degree of the fuzziness. An application to the prediction of the probability of “the breakdown in a gas” is given. This paper can be divided into three. First, a new fuzziness is developed, and a new approaching degree is also derived. Second, an example of prediction of the probability of breakdown in the gas is simulated by C language and emulated by practical experiment. The authors come to the conclusion that the new method is very accurate in the prediction of the breakdown in a gas
