Abstract :
This article is devoted to the simulation of the EHD flows using the finite element program package ANSYS. The original algorithm, which helps to compute the transient problem of the EHD flow development, is given. The influence of the recombination rate in the lateral streams on the fluid field of velocities is described. The cases of fast and slow recombination are considered.
