Abstract
The results of research of an original high current azimuthal electrodeless discharge, pressed to the inner wall of a cylindrical dielectric chamber by the pressure of a trapped longitudinal magnetic field are informed. This field previously was created in a solenoid being simultaneously an inductive storage of energy. As the opening switch of inductive storage an electroexplosive current breaker was used. The results of the analysis of trapping the longitudinal magnetic field by an azimuthal plasma current shell and an experimental study of the dynamics and radiative properties of a plasma layer are presented.
