  • Abstract
    The term “strategy” was adopted from military terminology to other fields of human activity-especially to economy and politics. Strategic targets are those which have essential importance at a certain stage of a country´s and commune´s development. The main concern is about the aims that change existing conditions. Introducing IT to administration is such an activity. IT helps to overcome drawbacks for the development of self-government. The paper discusses the development strategy of IT usage in government and public administration
