  • Abstract
    In academic circles, scholars hold different opinion about the development of transportation, some argue that we should recognize it from the point of space or systematology, others think harmony development between economic and transport is the key point, and economic development can force the transport develop, still someone use technology, institution, culture to explain it. These theories they hold have limitations in spite of reasonable elements can be taken into consideration. They failed to explain the development of transportation from the standpoint of human-earth relation. In fact, human-earth relation and its change is the real reason forced the transportation development. Among them, natural geographical environment is the the basic factors that influence development of transportation, and resources endowment is the decisive factors in determine transportation flow and flow direction, at the same time, space distance influence the level of transportation development. So this paper suggest that the influence coming from geographical environment should be take into account, when we plan transportation, plan regional, design city, morover, the structure of transportation should be difference in the difference geographical environment.
