Abstract
In this paper, we investigated Disperse Red 1 embedded into PMMA polymeric matrix. The optical properties were estimated for DR1-PMMA and PMMA thin films by spectroscopy and spectroscopic ellipsometry combined with transmittance measurements. We found that the refractive index of DR1-PMMA thin film is higher compared to PMMA.
