  • Abstract
    In this paper, a voltage regulator with unity power factor and high efficiency is presented. In the proposed scheme, two power converters are used, but they do not process all the power delivered to the load. The power is processed almost at once, resulting in an efficient converter. One converter corrects the power factor and the other regulates the output voltage; for these purposes sliding mode control is used, and a fast input and output response is obtained. Analysis, simulation and experimental results of the power converter are presented
