Abstract
The master-slave connection circuit (MSCC) is the topic of this paper. The MSCC is a fixed topology resistive circuit which allows to highlight the interactions among switching devices during commutations, whatever constraints are imposed by current/voltage blocking capabilities, sources and energy-storage reactive elements. MSCC´s properties and valid topologies for classification and synthesis of DC-DC switching power converters are discussed
