Abstract :
The segmentation of 3D human body is the key technology for Digital clothing, digital body measurement, computer animation and so on, but there are some shortcomings. So the segmentation of 3D body based on point cloud data is studied, and the method that the entire body model is divided into six parts is proposed in this paper. In the proposed method, some techniques such as slice, curve fitting and other mathematical tools are used to segment 3D human body according to the surface feature points. Finally, experimental results show that the proposed method can improve the accuracy of segmentation.
