Abstract :
A Robust Current-Loop Controller (RCLC) based on the theory of Sliding Model Control (SMC) for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSMs) is proposed in this paper. The Field Oriented Control (FOC) scheme for PMSMs drive is constructed to achieve the better performance. Meanwhile in order to damp the chattering brought by the basic principle of SMC, three ways are presented, which can ensure the robust and excellent dynamic performance of the current-loop controller. The robust, stability and dynamic performance of the controller are analyzed theoretically in this paper subsequently. At last, the simulation and experimental results are offered to approve the conclusion educed theoretically and verify the performance of the RCLC.
