Material requirement planning (mrp) to increase the tire manufacture rentability

The current fast growing automotive industry in Indonesia affected to increase the tire manufacture, PT.Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk representing company moving at industrial area of tire making, and company plan to do improving produce capacities and also extend product variant. Pursuant to perception, company not yet used a method in doing inventory control. Though to get optimal result company require to plan and control production process as good as possible. Therefore the research proposed a method of inventory control by using material requirement planning method or material requirement planning (MRP) to assist company in controlling raw material inventory to do its production process. Expected with this method existence, hence the inventory control can be done eminently and easy too. To support this method, hence part of inventory, purchasing, and Planning and Production Control (PPC) have to do coordination to accommodate between production planning and supply which have been made with actual circumstance in company.
