Abstract :
Simulation process for landscape impact on traffic safety in curve sections was built and then the following issues was analyzed in detail: the judgment method of transverse sliding accident of simulated vehicle (named host-vehicle), the generation method of obstacle or other vehicle (named vice-vehicle) within driver´s front view, the calculation method of driver´s sight distant, and the judgment method of host-vehicle´s safety state. Based on the simulation process, the simulation software for landscape impact on traffic safety in curve sections was developed under the guidance of program design idea. Set road design speed to 60km/h, ran the simulation program and got the simulation result. The method in this paper can be as an effective tool to research the impact of landscape on traffic safety.
