Abstract :
In this paper, the discrete time sliding mode technique is used to design a control scheme for the torque and flux square modulus reference tracking of an induction motor. The controller is designed on the basis of a discrete-time model in closed form obtained by a suitable continuous feed-forward signal. To estimate the rotor flux and the load torque, a discrete time reduced observer is also proposed. The effectiveness of the designed control scheme is confirmed via simulation.
