Analysis and control of a high speed indexing chain conveyor

This paper describes the implementation of a digital computer model of a high speed, chain based, indexing conveyor. The format of the model is presented with verification data obtained from experimental apparatus. The model presented represents the initial research into the accurate modelling of chain based conveyors. Sources of error within the current model and possible methods for improvement are discussed
