  • Abstract
The Serbian electromagnetic field (EMF) monitoring network - SEMONT is a network of remote wireless sensor nodes that continuously measure EMF level in the environment, in order to assess the non-ionizing radiation exposure of the general population and perform a real-time dissemination of the assessment results to the public. This paper presents some details of implementation and results of the SEMONT EMF in-situ broadband monitoring using Narda Area Multiband AMB 8057/03 sensor, equipped with the high-frequency quad-band electric field probe EP-4B-01. The goal of the monitoring is to provide real-time measurement results, and assessment of the potential long-term exposure of the general population, regarding the reference levels provided by the Serbian legislation and recommendations of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).
