Abstract
With the rapidly growing interests in renewable energies and smart grids, universities need to integrate these areas in their curricula. The University of Washington has established a sustainable energy track that allows the students to study renewable systems in addition to relevant topic such as power electronics and grid operation. This paper summarizes this track and highlights the main topics in renewable energy.
