    Although all of the literature up until now has talked about the revision of IEC555-2 (and its European and British counterparts EN60555-2 and BS5406 Part 2) it has recently been decided that the new specifications will be issued as parts of IEC1000 and EN61000 and when they are published in the middle of 1995 they will be numbered IEC1000-3-2 and EN61000-3-2
