  • Abstract
    Many terahertz (THz) systems have been put forward and some of them even have been found their ways in applications. Radio astronomy is the most prospective domain where terahertz coherent detecting systems are employed. Meanwhile atmosphere physics research is another domain in which terahertz systems may play an important role. In this paper, a coherent detecting system for the earth environment observation is presented. Its structure is introduced and the performance is also shown here. Through the test program and the test result a successful detecting system has been designed and demonstrated. Hopefully, it will take some useful suggestions for those who researches in this field.
