Abstract :
The estimation of the modulation scheme is one of the vital tasks in the receiver of an adaptive modulation based system. In this paper, we propose and analyze the performance of a simple modulation scheme estimation method in the context of adaptive modulation based coded OFDM-CDMA systems in Rayleigh fading channels. Simulation results show that the method works error free for one user in the system at a channel condition of around 12 dB, and up to a maximum of 13 users at a channel condition of around 30 dB.
