Abstract
This paper proposes a method for realization of current-mode multivalued CMOS circuits using an evolutionary algorithm. It describes a multilayer network, which may be considered as a net of logic units. The logic units are capable of realizing any combinational multivalued circuit. The key of this method is a multivalued logic design problem seen from the point of view of an optimization task solved with a genetic algorithm. Simulation runs show that the method proposed has promising results
