  • Abstract
    Cloud computing opens up new fields of application for image processing. In this article we present an embedded scalable image processing system (vision system) that is universally designed for cloud computing applications. It supports the implementation of image processing algorithms in software (using C/C++) as well as in hardware (using a hardware description language). An application of our vision system is presented on the example of room monitoring.
