  • Abstract
The noise from an automatic dishwasher was partially canceled using both open-loop cancellation and a generalized minimum variance (GMV) control law. The open-loop approach was used to partially cancel the main periodic component (120 Hz), while the GMV control law was used to partially cancel some of the random components of the noise. A hybrid canceler using both approaches together produced the greatest cancellation
