Abstract
The method of control chosen to attain the precision required by the specifications for a new weather satellite produced an unstable system. The necessity for use of repetitive control in the servo controlling the east-west mirror of the imager subsystem is discussed. A unique application of repetitive control that will be used to reduce the coherent errors is described
