Abstract :
A robust controller, based on the Riccati equation approach, is proposed for power system load-frequency control. The proposed controller is simple and effective, and it can ensure that the overall system is asymptotically stable for all admissible uncertainties in the presence of generation rate constraint. Numerical simulation results are presented for illustration
