Abstract :
An uncertain time-delay system model is very important and useful because many practical systems have such properties as time-delay and uncertainty. A robust fault-tolerant control law is derived based on Lyapunov stability theorem. The control law can keep an uncertain time-delay system integrity against sensor failure as well as parameter perturbation. A design method using the fault-tolerant control law is also proposed. An illustrative example and the corresponding simulation results are given to demonstrate the proposed design method. The simulation results prove the method which can also be applied at the condition of actuator failure very useful and highly effective.
