Fractal agent modeling in building some software system

Increasingly, many computer systems are being viewed in terms of autonomous agents. Agent-oriented techniques represent an exciting new means of analyzing, designing and building complex software systems. At any given level, sub-systems work together to achieve the functionality of their parent system. Thus, the same basic model of interacting components, working together to achieve particular objectives, occurs throughout the system. We use the agent model to model not only the top level of the application, but also all levels, during analyzing, designing and building, the agent modeling is fractal-like.
