Abstract
In this paper, we present the results obtained concerning the characterization of electromagnetic disturbances on the telephone LLN caused by broadcasting nearby emissions. In this study, we propose an in site measurement methodology that permits the identification of the EMI coupling mode, the sensitive parts of the LLN and the effects on the telephone services. We demonstrate that the coupling occurs especially at the overhead line parts and at some types of user´s terminal sets. An experimental susceptibility study of terminal sets is proposed, This analysis is a first step for the design of compensation solutions
