  • Abstract
    A probable structure of burst for optical composite burst switching (OCBS) and a new method supporting QoS to set offset time between control packet and macropacket are put forward. The algorithm to realize OCBS is also proposed. According to the result of the performance analysis, OCBS has a lower packet loss probability and higher channel efficiency than OBS, thus, OCBS is an ideal switching hierarchy for the all-optical network.
