Abstract :
The International Symposium on Cloud and Services Computing 2012 (ISCOS 2012), was held 16-19 December 2012, at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Mangalore, India. ISCOS has brought together a tremendous and rich diversity of authors and speakers from universities, and technical institutes in India and abroad to share ideas and new perspectives on a wide range of issues in Cloud and Services Computing. Addressing new technical and research issues essential to advancing today´s engineering and technological education, particularly in the domains of Cloud and Services. The popularity of ISCOS as an important forum for Cloud and Services Computing research has just started to grow from this 2012 symposium. This year, the response to the ISCOS´s call for papers has been outstanding, and as we expected that the attendance is equally impressive. Many individuals have contributed to the success of this conference. We would like to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of the Team ISCOS 2012, which consists of all the members of Steering Committee and Technical Program Committee along with Organizing Chair and his co-members in various committees. Together with the Technical Program Committee, they worked diligently to select papers and speakers that met the criteria of high quality and relevance to various fields of interest.
