  • Abstract
    Two alternative algorithms for M.J. Grimble´s (1990) basic weighted predictive control (WPC) are proposed. Limitations and advantages of each algorithm are examined. A generalized version of the basic WPC law is also presented. Simulations show the effects of design parameter such as prediction horizons and auxiliary filters on plant response and the effects of the disturbance model on the disturbance attenuation
