Abstract :
This paper present a novel algorithm for numerical simulating a fiber Raman amplifier mathematical model. With the introduction of the coefficient of pump energy transfer and presenting an improved target algorithm, problems about the simulation of Raman amplifier can be solved. This fast algorithm can be used in Raman amplifier simulation and designing of flat-gain Raman amplifier. It leads to obvious reduction of time with simulation accuracy.
