Abstract :
This paper describes the autonomous underwater vehicle Mauve, which is a small vehicle designed for the surveying of coastal areas. It presents the physical characteristics of the platform, and the modules on which the design is based. It describes in detail the man-machine interface used for programming each mission and recovering and visualising the acquired data, giving in this way a complete presentation of the missions that can be performed by the vehicle.
